Can I Cancel an Exchange?
It depends on the stage of your exchange.
Before Deposit
If you haven't sent your deposit yet, there's nothing to cancel. Simply close the page and don't send anything. The order will expire on its own.
After Deposit (Before Processing)
Once your deposit is on its way, cancellation is generally not possible. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
During Processing
Once we've received your deposit and begun the exchange, it cannot be cancelled. The XMR privacy layer processing is irreversible.
After Completion
Completed exchanges are final. Crypto transactions cannot be reversed.
Alternative: Swap Back
If you need to reverse an exchange, simply create a new order in the opposite direction:
- —Sent XMR → BTC? Create a BTC → XMR order
- —Sent ETH → XMR? Create an XMR → ETH order
Note that you'll pay exchange fees again and the rate may have changed.
