How to Exchange XMR to BTC
Swapping Monero to Bitcoin is the most popular pair on Ghost Exchange. Here's how to do it.
Why XMR → BTC?
Many users hold XMR for privacy but need BTC for payments, trading on centralized exchanges, or DeFi. Ghost Exchange lets you convert without creating an account or revealing your identity.
Steps
1. Navigate to the Exchange page
2. Select XMR in the "You Send" field
3. Select BTC in the "You Receive" field
4. Enter the amount of XMR you want to send (minimum: 0.001 XMR)
5. Enter your Bitcoin wallet address — this is where you'll receive BTC
6. Choose Float or Fixed rate
7. Review the details and click Exchange Now
8. Send your XMR to the generated deposit address
9. Wait for confirmation — typically 10–20 minutes (XMR needs ~10 confirmations, then BTC is broadcast)
