How to Exchange BTC to XMR
Converting Bitcoin to Monero is a common way to gain financial privacy. Once your BTC enters Ghost Exchange, the XMR output is completely untraceable.
Why BTC → XMR?
Bitcoin transactions are public and traceable. By converting to XMR:
- —Your transaction history becomes private
- —Chain analysis tools cannot follow the trail
- —Your XMR balance is completely hidden
Steps
1. Navigate to the Exchange page
2. Select BTC in the "You Send" field
3. Select XMR in the "You Receive" field
4. Enter the amount of BTC you want to send
5. Enter your Monero wallet address (starts with 4 or 8)
6. Choose your rate type (Float recommended for BTC → XMR)
7. Confirm and send your BTC to the deposit address
8. Wait for 1–2 BTC confirmations (~10–20 min), then XMR is sent
Important Notes
- —Send the exact amount shown — sending more or less may cause delays
- —BTC requires at least 1 network confirmation before we process the swap
- —Your XMR will arrive at your wallet with full privacy — the transaction cannot be linked to the BTC you sent
