How Deposits Work
When you create an exchange, Ghost Exchange generates a unique one-time deposit address for your transaction.
The Process
1. Address generation — A fresh address is created exclusively for your swap
2. You send funds — Transfer the exact amount to the deposit address
3. We detect the deposit — Our nodes monitor the blockchain in real time
4. Confirmations — We wait for the required number of network confirmations
5. Processing — Your swap is executed through the XMR privacy layer
6. Delivery — Exchanged tokens are sent to your destination address

Important Rules
- —Send the exact amount shown in the order
- —One deposit per address — Do not reuse deposit addresses
- —Correct network — Send on the right blockchain (e.g., ERC-20 for ETH USDT)
- —Time limit (fixed rate only) — Deposit within 20 minutes or the order expires
What If I Send the Wrong Amount?
- —Slightly more: The excess is exchanged along with your deposit
- —Slightly less: The reduced amount is exchanged at the current rate
- —Significantly different: Contact support for assistance

Every deposit address comes with a scannable QR code for easy mobile deposits. The QR encodes the full address — just scan and send.
